Heidi Graham Obituary Sussex New Brunswick Death: Beloved Resident Passed Away Unexpectedly Family and Friends Mourn

Heidi Annette Graham was remembered for her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family. Born July 10, 1986, and raised on Jordan Mountain, New Brunswick, Heidi built a life shaped by faith, adventure, cooking, nursing, and devotion to those she loved.

Heidi died peacefully at Sussex Health Centre on August 1, 2026, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer. She had celebrated her 40th birthday only weeks earlier.

Her passion for cooking began when she was a child. At nine, she was already baking bread to sell to neighbors, and she later studied culinary arts at Holland College, graduating in 2006. Her desire to learn took her to kitchens and culinary experiences in places including Emerald Lake, Nantucket, Montreal, Paris, Italy, Vietnam, and Ukraine.

Heidi later earned a Bachelor of Nursing degree and began her nursing career at 3CN/general surgery at Saint John Regional Hospital. After marrying Mackenzie Graham in January 2020, she moved to northern Saskatchewan, where she worked in emergency care and formed meaningful connections with patients and colleagues.

Motherhood became one of Heidi’s greatest joys. She and Mackenzie welcomed Felicity in 2021, followed by Felix and Senora after returning to New Brunswick. Heidi cherished gardening, family gatherings, the outdoors, and creating elaborate birthday cakes for her children.

She is survived by her husband, children, parents, sisters, and extended family.

Heidi will be remembered for her red hair, hearty laugh, humor, faith, and optimism. Even during her illness, her love for Christ and hope for her children remained steadfast.

Her life was far too short, but the love she gave will continue through her family, friends and all who were fortunate to know her.
