OBITUARY, Curt Maddox, Investors Title Company Mourns Loss Of Chief Technology Officer
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Curt Maddox, our Chief Technology Officer and a cherished member of our company family for 26 years. Curt’s sudden departure leaves an irreplaceable void in our workplace and our hearts.

For more than two decades, Curt’s dedication, expertise, and steady leadership were foundational to our company. As CTO, he masterfully guided our technology strategy, but his true legacy is the profound human impact he made every day. Curt was a trusted colleague and a patient mentor who demystified technology with grace. He was the person you called whether your password failed or a critical system did, always responding without judgment and often with a clever joke that turned frustration into a smile.
Curt’s playful spirit defined our culture. His good-natured teasing and quick wit created a special energy, forging bonds through laughter. He witnessed and shaped countless company milestones, his quiet leadership and genuine care leaving a permanent imprint on our team.
Beyond work, Curt was a devoted husband to his wife, Lisa; a loving father to his sons, Camden, Jayden, and Ashden; and a dedicated dog dad to Bolt. Our deepest sympathies are with them.
While Curt will be profoundly missed, his influence is woven into our company’s foundation. We are forever grateful for his 26 years of service, friendship, and kindness.
